JAVIER ODDO

BIO:

Javier Oddo is a photographer and architect, born in Chile and currently residing in NYC. After finishing his masters in architecture in Santiago, he moved to NYC in 2004 where he started to develop his work in photography.

Now he focuses mostly on beauty, fashion and editorial work but he is always open to new and interesting projects. His interest in colors & details helped him to develop a very particular way to capture portraits.

He is looking to achieve a photographic expression that, based on the portrait format, could integrate elements from fashion, beauty and advertising photography within the same composition.

His beauty work focuses on the intention to enhance and bring out "products" and "objects" in a concept where these elements become main characters of this visual exploration through changes in use, meaning or expected context, creating new associations in order to expose the beauty of those simple elements with other readings, other views.
